We would like to express our most sincere thanks to the organizers of Alhambra Venture 2025 for creating an exceptional platform that from June 30 to July 2 brought together more than 1,100 entrepreneurs, investors and innovators at the Palacio de Congresos de Granada. We would also like to give special thanks to the business incubator El Carmen and to Diputación de Granada for making our participation in this enriching event possible.

We are excited to share that Montevive.ai was selected as a finalist in the EarlyBird category, which allowed us to have our own booth at the event and present our pitch on Monday June 30 along with the rest of the startups in this category in front of more than 400 venture capitalists and business angels.

The Pitch Evening: “The Next Big Thing” with Early Bird startups

The afternoon of Monday, June 30 was especially memorable for us. The Early Bird category represents a new modality introduced in Alhambra Venture 2025, specifically designed for early-stage startups with innovative character and great potential for scalability. This initiative represents a clear commitment of the event to support emerging companies that, although they are in early stages, show a high growth potential.

During this session, each startup had the opportunity to present its vision to an auditorium full of investors eager to discover the next investment opportunities. The diversity of sectors represented was impressive: from healthtech to fintech, sustainability solutions, deeptech and, of course, artificial intelligence. This variety greatly enriched the discussion and subsequent conversations.

For us, it was a pleasure to show how our secure AI solutions enable enterprises to harness the power of artificial intelligence while maintaining complete control over their data, without relying on cloud services. The genuine interest of investors and other startups in learning about alternatives that respect data sovereignty validated our value proposition and confirmed that we are on the right track.

The El Carmen incubator ecosystem: fellow travelers

One of the most rewarding experiences of the event was meeting other startups that, like us, are part of the ecosystem of the El Carmen incubator. This incubator, promoted by the Diputación de Granada and managed by Telefónica through its innovation hub Wayra, has become the new epicenter of innovative entrepreneurship in the province.

Seeing our colleagues from El Carmen presenting their projects at Alhambra Venture was tremendously inspiring. Our startups have impact in sectors such as artificial intelligence, IoT, smart tourism, smart cities, agrotech, biotechnology, health, education, robotics and digital transformation. This diversity was clearly reflected in the conversations we had during the event, where we were able to learn about fascinating projects that address challenges complementary to our own.

It should be noted that for this first call of El Carmen, 67 projects were submitted, of which 9 were finally selected by a committee composed of key entities of Granada’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, including the Provincial Council, Telefónica, the University of Granada, the Digital Agency of Andalusia, the AI Granada R&I Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce of Granada.

Strategic connections that make a difference

One of the most valuable aspects of Alhambra Venture 2025 was the exceptional quality of the connections we made. Among the most enriching conversations was our meeting with TechLawrd, an international startup specializing in legal services for startups that fully understands the unique challenges faced by emerging technology companies. Their comprehensive approach ranges from incorporation and corporate structure to partner agreements, investment agreements, data protection and regulatory compliance – exactly what we need in our growth phase.

We also had the opportunity to meet Miquel Costa Planas, CEO and president of Keiretsu Forum Spain, the largest international network of Business Angels investors with presence in 53 offices in 27 countries. Miquel, a graduate in Business Administration and MBA from ESADE, has more than 25 years of experience in executive management and is co-founder of the “SME capital forum”. As an active investor in the Spanish startup ecosystem and a regular speaker at entrepreneurship events, his insights on investment trends and valuation criteria provided us with an invaluable perspective for our future growth.

Among the startups that most caught our attention was Ringr (ringr.ai), winner of Alhambra Venture 2024, an innovative company that develops conversational AI solutions for “very human” phone calls, designed specifically for large and medium-sized companies. Its technology, capable of handling up to 10,000 concurrent calls in 32 different languages, represents a fascinating approach to how AI can transform customer service and business operations. It is particularly noteworthy that Ringr has been recognized as a winning startup at multiple events, including Fitur 2025, Alhambra’s own Alhambra Venture 2024 and GANVAM Startups 2024, demonstrating the quality and impact of its technology proposition.

These connections were not superficial exchanges of business cards, but deep conversations about the future of technology, the common challenges we face as startups, and the real opportunities for collaboration that lie ahead.

Looking to the future with renewed optimism

Alhambra Venture 2025 was not simply a three-day event, but a transformative experience that has strengthened our vision and exponentially expanded our growth possibilities. The validation received as Early Bird finalists, the strategic connections established and the business opportunities identified mark a before and after in Montevive.ai’s trajectory.
