Moviwa has won first place in the Acceleration category of INCIBE Emprende. The award was presented on 22 October 2026 in León, at 20ENISE, the cybersecurity meeting of INCIBE, Spain's National Cybersecurity Institute.

A thousand conversations about ransomware, phishing and advanced persistent threats. And in the middle of it, us, talking about what happens when someone at your company pastes a contract into ChatGPT on a Tuesday at five in the afternoon.

INCIBE Emprende awards at 20ENISE, León, 22 October 2026.

What the award was for

INCIBE Emprende is INCIBE's programme to boost cybersecurity entrepreneurship. It runs two competitions: Incubation, for projects, and Acceleration, for startups. At 20ENISE the best pitches in each were awarded.

According to the figures INCIBE showed on stage, the programme has run 43 accelerations with 404 startups and 61 incubations with 1,086 projects. Moviwa competed in Acceleration.

Congratulations to the other winners: the bar was high, and it showed.

What Moviwa is

That is what Moviwa is for: it blocks confidential data in real time, before it reaches ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. And the jury got it straight away: generative AI is already a security problem, even if many companies have not yet put it on their inventory.

The problem it solves

At any company, on an ordinary Tuesday, someone in accounts pastes a payslip into ChatGPT to check the withholdings. A salesperson uploads the proposal for their biggest client to make it sound more convincing. Someone in IT pastes a piece of code with an access key inside it.

Nobody did anything wrong: they used AI to work better. But a colleague's name and salary, the agreed prices and the key have already left the company, and nobody knows.

It is not a rare case. According to Microsoft and LinkedIn's 2024 Work Trend Index, 78% of AI users at work bring their own AI tools.

What it does

Moviwa sits between your team and AI, and does three things:

  • It shows you what is happening: which AI tools are used, in which departments and what kind of information is trying to leave.
  • It keeps confidential data at home: before a message reaches ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, it detects names, ID numbers, amounts or code and hides them. The AI answers just as well, and the person sees the full answer on their screen.
  • It gives you proof when you are asked for it: if a client, an auditor or your board asks how you control AI, you have a record ready to show.

It works in the office and remotely, without changing tools or touching your infrastructure. And it does not watch anyone: it does not record conversations or monitor what each person does; it only acts when sensitive data is about to leave, and tells the sender.

What it is already protecting

According to the aggregated, anonymised figures published on moviwa.ai, in the companies already using it Moviwa has protected 48,000 messages to AI and hidden 6,200 pieces of confidential data. One in eight messages sent to AI contained sensitive information.

"At a law firm, what leaves with a copy and paste is a client's secret. With Moviwa the team keeps using AI every day, and I know the names, figures and case files stay at home."

Lidia Gámez, CEO of Sympathy for the Lawyer

Moviwa applies the controls required by the GDPR, the EU AI Act, NIS2 or ISO 42001, and leaves you the documentation to prove it. It is not a certification: it is the tool you use to show you comply. If you want to know which rules apply to you, we covered it this week in AI Act in Spain and NIS2 in Spain: is your company in scope?.

What an award like this means for a startup

A security startup sells trust before it sells technology. Whoever installs Moviwa trusts it with the most sensitive thing they have: what their team writes to AI. That is why it matters that the INCIBE Emprende jury, the programme of Spain's reference cybersecurity institute, chose Moviwa in Acceleration.

  • Independent validation. We had been saying that generative AI is a security problem. Now a cybersecurity jury with no interest in proving us right backs it up.
  • An answer for clients in regulated sectors. Law firms, banks, education and public bodies ask who vouches for what they buy, and more and more public tenders ask how AI use is controlled. An INCIBE award needs no technical explanation.
  • Visibility where the sector is. 20ENISE brings together the people who buy, recommend and regulate cybersecurity in Spain. Taking Moviwa onto that stage, and not only to an AI forum, puts the problem where it belongs.
  • Continuity. It comes a month after we won the Startup Andalucía Roadshow 2026, and follows our entry into the BSC AI Factory acceleration programme and the award at the University of Granada's 12th entrepreneurship competition.

And what an award does not do: it does not protect a single piece of data. The product does that. What León tells us is that we are on the right track; from here on, what counts is how many companies stop sending their secrets to AI without knowing it.

What we took home from León

  • First prize in Acceleration for Moviwa.
  • A rather large award board that we now have to fit in the car.
  • Confirmation that security and AI can no longer be treated separately.

Thanks to INCIBE Emprende for the programme and to the jury for their time.
