Montevive AI among the five winners of Startup Andalucía Roadshow 2026
Montevive AI is one of the five winning startups of the fifth edition of Startup Andalucía Roadshow. The final took place in Seville on 23 September 2026, as part of Al Andalus Innovation Venture 2026, held on 22 and 23 September. The prize is an internationalisation programme that takes us to Valencia Digital Summit in October and to Slush, in Helsinki, in November.
Two days at Al Andalus Innovation Venture
We arrived in Seville as one of the 12 finalist startups. To reach the final, projects had to get through the online Talents Show on 9 and 10 September, which brought together startups from all eight Andalusian provinces.
Over the two days of the event, Chema Robles and Rubén Sánchez ran our stand: conversations with investors, with other startups and with companies that want to use AI without exposing their data.
The pitch came on 23 September. Three minutes in front of the jury to explain what problem we solve, for whom, and why now. Chema Robles, CEO of Montevive AI, delivered it. Three minutes force you to cut everything that isn't essential, and what remains is this: companies in regulated sectors are already using generative AI, and they need to do it with security, compliance and governance from day one, not as an afterthought.

It wasn't our first time on this stage: in 2025 we presented Montevive AI at the Al-Andalus Innovation Venture artificial intelligence Pitch Competition.

The five winners have one thing in common: all of them build their product on artificial intelligence, each tackling a very different problem.
- Arkaiu Systems (Cádiz): a SaaS platform to centralise, manage and personalise the everyday use of AI tools inside companies.
- Montevive AI (Granada): AI security, compliance and governance for companies operating in regulated sectors.
- Glosso (Jaén): a University of Jaén spin-off developing Latentis Biogrow, an AI voice assistant for agricultural and industrial management, logistics and traceability.
- Nexo Intelligence (Málaga): a system that automates order management and intake for the HoReCa channel (hotels, restaurants and cafés).
- Eldes (Málaga): a sign-language learning platform that combines AI and computer vision to interpret movements in real time.

What the prize includes
The Startup Andalucía Roadshow prize is a training and internationalisation programme. It includes business training, tailored mentoring and meeting agendas with international investment funds at two events:

Valencia Digital Summit is one of the leading tech gatherings in southern Europe. It brings together founders, venture capital funds, corporates and technology leaders. There we will hold one-to-one meetings with investors, exhibit in front of corporates looking for open innovation, and attend the talks programme.
Slush is northern Europe's flagship startup event, with a strong focus on investment and business. Its matchmaking platform lets you book meetings with international investors, and around the main event there are themed side events where many of the conversations that matter actually happen.
What it means for Montevive AI
For Montevive AI, this award is recognition of our daily work and effort. And it leaves us with three takeaways.
First, validation. Explaining in three minutes why a regulated company needs to govern its use of AI, and having a jury understand and value it, tells us this is no longer a niche problem.
Second, Europe. We work as an independent European specialist, and the AI Act, the GDPR and ISO 27001 are the framework our clients operate in. Valencia and Helsinki are the right places to test that approach with investors and companies from other European markets.
Third, continuity. This award follows our selection for the BSC AI Factory acceleration programme and the best startup award at the XII UGR Emprendedora Competition. Each one has served a different purpose. This one opens the door to international markets.
